Rotating out old flock - still laying very well, see percentages below. Very little defeathering. Only switching flock because I must maintain a very constant supply of eggs to a specific market, so cannot afford to dip below 80%. This flock started laying September 2025, so haven't even been laying one year.
Check out the photos, these girls have been living in a palace - loads of room, fresh table scraps, deep bedding and quality locally milled feed. State of the art greenhouse with full sunlight, roll up sides for fresh air, outside run for outdoor access all day. super healthy flock - zero disease.
