Casa Susanna, our award-winning modern Mexican restaurant led by three-time James Beard nominee Executive Chef Efrén Hernández, is looking for passionate hospitality professionals to join our front-of-house team.

We are currently seeking a Bartender for our seasonal outdoor bar: Bar Piscina
4 days a week. Shifts are Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat
11am-7pm (bar open 1-6pm)
$25 her hour + you keep all tips.
The bar is simple: just a frozen guava margarita, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

About You:

- Over 18 to serve alcohol in New York State.
Job Functions:
- Interact and provide drinks for guests at Bar Piscina.
- Set up and breakdown bar
- Keep spaces clean and in order at all times.
- Make sure all side work and checklists are completed and signed off on.
- Carefully take and place orders in the POS system (Toast)
- Ensure all payment methods are processed accurately.
- Process your check-out and ensure your money is accounted for and properly handed to the manager on duty.
Responsibilities:
- Able to stand for at least an 8 hour shift.
- Punctuality: adhere to posted schedule and arrival times.
- Adhere to all service points and lines of communication.
- Adhere to company uniform, hygiene and grooming standards.
- Attend all mandatory training and meetings.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times, even during stressful situations.
Reliable solo operator: You’ll be trusted to open, run, and close the outdoor bar independently. We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in owning their space.
