I’m a documentary filmmaker working on a project about adults whose jobs have been affected, or are about to be affected, by advances in AI and automation.
I’m looking to speak with people who have recently been laid off, are anticipating a layoff, or feel their role is changing in ways that may make it obsolete. This project is not about technology hype or predictions. It’s about people and how work shapes identity, and what happens when that work disappears or transforms.
The approach is vérité and long-form, built around time, trust, and honest observation. No acting. Just real lives, as they are.
