Hello! I sing, play guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele and hand drums in an eclectic style influenced by styles such as Appalachian, spirituals, Eastern European, African, mantras, etc. I write songs and also like to create unique covers of songs. I have recently been part of groups such as Ashella ( myspace.com/ashellalove ) and Pachamama ( myspace.com/singtopachamama ). Music is very important to me and I'm looking for other interesting musicians to jam with! I will be in Oneonta until the end of July, and then back again sometime around mid-December. I am a gigging musician from LI coming up for vacation week of Aug 16th. would like to hit a few open mics or jams around the area. Anybody interested? Normal partner is 22 and we play Jewel, alanis, nickle Creek, James Taylor, Allison Krauss, CSNY, Beatles, Coldplay, Eagles, Baez, Green Day, Dylan, Clapton, etc.
I have words & chord charts in books. I can send a list, if you know 3 - 4 of the songs we can go play. My house is in Acra and we can practice there once or twice before going out. Male / Female singer, guitar player, banjo, fiddle, harp etc. So little time, so many songs. Never gigged? Good time to start. Wanna just jam? hit me up and we can set up a day. Irish music? would love to try.

Local drummer with years of experience looking for dudes to shred with. Recently winding down with an old band, and anxious to start something else in the meantime... into all types of music from folk to death metal, but am seriously interested in thrash or grind metal. I've recently moved up, and am located near Phoenicia. Willing to travel within reason, but must have practice space. Also interested in possibly booking punk/hardcore/metal shows in the area? Haven't seen much activity there, and it seems like there could be a good response.

I'm a former bass player wishing to pick it up again and start a good cover band of heavy stuff like Prong, Korn, Chevelle, Deftones, Motograter, Black Sabbath to name a few. No thrash or punk. THere are no bands like this for 50 miles that I know of and we could get a lot of shows, or as many or few as we want. Low B tuning probably neccesary.

Disciplined and dedicated musicians only please. Mature, responsible, and not easily distracted. Send me a list of songs you would like to cover. Rehearsal space will need to be established, must be within 20 miles of Windham

One rapper-kid I spoke with never sells less than 300 CDs per night at $5 each. His following has grown to the point that anything he puts for sale on MySpace sells at least 900 units! ( Online his CDs go for $12 each. I'll let YOU do the math. )
