I live upstairs. The images are of the front of the house and the view from my deck. The house is right across from the lake, and we have lake rights, so swimming or canoeing in the summer is wonderful!
There are 3 good-sized rooms, all with a little ledge at chair-rail height, great for plants, pictures, etc.
· The bedroom is 12x15 with 2 windows, carpet, closet and additional hanging space.
· The living room is 12x20, looks out on the lake, has 3 windows, a glass door, and a hardwood floor.
· The kitchen is 12x12, has two windows, plenty of room to eat in, with a clean fridge, and gas stove.
· The bathroom is small, but clean, tiled, and pleasant; between the kitchen and bathroom is an additional little room, which measures 6x9 and provides good extra storage.
· You also get a neat patio with garden furniture, perfect for morning coffee and evening barbecues.
One or two cats or one small dog is ok. There's a shared washing machine and dryer. Heating is mostly gas plus a couple of low-cost electric convection panels installed to cut costs.
I do not rent to smokers.
Rent is $625/month and does not include utilities, (excluding garbage pick-up and snow removal, which you don't have to pay for). Also included - high speed wireless internet (RoadRunner cable). My cell phone works here, if you don't want to get a landline. You would park in the driveway.
I will require the first month's rent plus a one month security deposit, a one year lease, and references, preferably from previous landlords.
